What is Xeomin® for Headaches/Migraines?

What to Expect During Treatment
Xeomin treatments for headaches are quick and can usually be completed in about 15-30 minutes. To begin, the treatment area will be cleaned. Several injections of Xeomin will be given to areas in the face, head, and neck where you experience headaches or migraine pain.
It can take multiple treatment sessions and several weeks before migraine relief is noticed. Some patients may also be able to discontinue injections without frequent headaches returning, while others may need regular treatments to keep migraines under control.
Aftercare Instructions
Following treatment, there is no downtime required, and you are welcome to drive yourself home. The areas injected may feel tender or bruised for the first few days. The benefits of treatment will usually develop a week or two after injections.
In order to ensure that Xeomin has completely absorbed into the injected areas, it is advised that you avoid vigorous exercise, massages and extreme heat, hair washing, and skin cleansing in the areas injected for at least 24 hours after treatment.
